Mrs. Albert Diefenbach
Sellersburg, Indiana
Dear Mrs. Diefenbach:
Please thank the members of your Sunday School Class for the very nice donation they made recently to the Fund for the entertainment of service men here in our community. Since we started these parties in July, 1942, we have had wll over 400 men from 46 States here as our guests. I am quite sure the vast majority of these men were deeply appreciative of the hospitality they received at the hands of our people.
It has been through the very fine generosity of our people, such as that displayed by your class, that these parties have been able to be continued. For these men, and for myself and the others who ahve worked in behalf of the continuance of the parties, I wish to thank you for your interest and I hope you will express this thought to your Class.
Sincerely,
Jesse G. Dorsey
