iolANA JUL 9 STATE UBR,A,Rt T__ cite N An investment in Knowledge always pays the best Interest.-Franklin. Vol.,. III. L ADOGA, INDIANA, SEPTEMBER, 1886. No. 9. The New Normal Herald. We present you with the NORMAL HERALD this month in a new form. This change means progress and improvement. The HERALD is enlarged, and, we believe, made much more desirable in this shape. The change has been made at much expense, and if it is appreciated by our readers, we -hope all will give us their hearty support during the coming year. You can aid us by sending your renewals promptly; by soliciting your friends to subscribe ; and by using the HERALD in your school. Just at this time it will be greatly appreciated if our present subscribers will send pay for another year. If your time is not yet out it will be extended one year from its expiration. If your subscription has expired, it is highly important that you write us immediately, stating whether you desire the paper for another year or not. This is decidedly the best way, in order that we may fairly understand each other. Many complain when we cancel their names from the list, stating that they had intended to renew, and had just neglected it. Don't neglect, but in a business-like way write us whether you desire the HERALD longer or not. Now, in order to induce those who read this announcement to send at once, we make thefollowing SPECIAL OFFERS. 1. We will send the NORMAL HERALD alone for one year for thirty-five cents. 2. We will send the NORMAL HERALD for one year, and choice of either one of U. S. History Outlined, or Civil Government Outlined, or Physiology Outlined, in paper binding for forty cents. 3. We will send the NORMAL HERALD for one year and choice of two of the Outlines in paper for fifty cents. 4. We will send the NORMAL HERALD for one year and choice of U. S. History outlined or Physiology Outlined in cloth for fifty cents. 5. We will send the NORMAL HEALD for one year and both U. S. History Outlined and Physiology Outlined in cloth and Civil Government Outlined in paper for seventy-five cents. These offers apply to old and new subscribers alike. Do not delay your orders. Send at once. We prefer that you remit by Am. Express money order, postal note, registered letter or P. 0. money order, as these methods are safe ; but postage stamps will be taken in quantities less than one dollar. Address C. M.
